The Challenge of AM Build Plates
Warped Build Plates Ruin Prints
Extreme thermal stress during printing induces residual stress, causing standard plates to warp. This ruins the entire build and wastes thousands in titanium powder.
First-Layer Delamination & Adhesion Failure
Titanium is notoriously difficult to bond. Any micro-imperfections or lack of flatness in the plate surface prevent proper sintering, causing delamination from the base.
Incorrect Plate Dimensions Jam Machines
Precision is key. Inaccurate indexing holes or slot dimensions prevent secure clamping, risking damage to your OEM machine's automatic leveling system.
Our Build Plate Solution
Engineering stability into every square millimeter.
Vacuum Annealed. Zero Distortion.
We apply a secondary vacuum annealing process to every plate after finish machining, eliminating residual stress throughout the material before it ever reaches your machine.
Precision-Ground Flat
Utilizing high-rigidity dual-disc grinders, we achieve a flatness tolerance of ≤ 0.05 mm (or customized). This ensures a perfect first layer and consistent powder distribution across the entire build plate.
Drop-in OEM Fit
All locating holes and edge slots are machined to strict H7 tolerances using Wire EDM and CNC milling. This guarantees seamless compatibility with your OEM printer’s clamping system.

Frequently Asked Questions
Technical and logistical insights for your additive manufacturing operations.
Q1: Will your titanium build plates fit my specific 3D printer model?
Yes. As an OEM manufacturer, we produce compatible alternatives for virtually all major brands including EOS, SLM Solutions, Renishaw, GE Arcam, BLT, and more. Whether you need a standard size or a discontinued model, we can manufacture it to match the original specifications for a perfect drop-in fit.
Q2: Are your plates better than the original ones from the machine manufacturer?
Our plates meet the same dimensional and material specifications as OEM-supplied substrates — the same alloy grade, the same flatness tolerance, the same certification standards. The price difference (typically 30–50% below OEM) reflects direct factory supply, not a compromise in quality. We also offer faster lead times than most OEM channels.
Q3: Why can't I just use a steel or aluminum plate for printing titanium?
We strongly advise against it. Using dissimilar metals (like steel) can lead to iron contamination, which ruins the metallurgical properties of titanium parts—especially critical for aerospace and medical implants. Additionally, mismatched thermal expansion rates cause severe warping. Our titanium plates ensure material purity and stable thermal mass.
Q4: Do you provide Material Test Reports (MTRs)?
Yes. Full traceability is available. We provide Mill Test Reports (MTRs) certifying chemical composition and mechanical properties. For high-end applications, we also offer plates that have undergone Hot Isostatic Pressing (HIP) to eliminate internal porosity.
